Because Lucky's is currently under construction, this description is apt to change at any time >.> Lucky's is located in a small, unassuming building, its exterior functional rather than flashy. Inside, you'll find much the same - the small card room seats no more than 30 people at a time, and the little bar in the corner seats only 3. However, the drinks are poured generously and are inexpensive, and the bartender knows some amusing jokes and tricks. The six round card tables placed throughout the room are for poker, blackjack, or whatever your special request is -- assuming you have the money to buy in and the manager approves. With relatively few employees, you'll find the manager and owner, Meyer Lansky, moving between the tables, shaking hands, dealing cards, or ferrying drinks. One immediately gets the sense from the minimalistic yet comfortable decor that both amateurs and professionals are welcomed, but the intimidating bouncers let you know that absolutely no crap will be taken. Lucky's is open from 5pm to 2am every day of the week, and each night has a different "featured game" in which the stakes are higher, but the payouts are bigger.. if you win, that is.
